The concept for my final thesis poster revolves around showcasing the harmonious integration of Western and Eastern cultures. Representing the Western perspective is the imagery of a boarding student's experience in Boston, featuring iconic elements such as a lobster and a burger. Conversely, the Eastern viewpoint reflects my Taiwanese identity, symbolized by prominent figures like Guan Yu, a significant religious icon in Taiwan. Additionally, the illustration incorporates elements such as a temple, bubble milk tea, and Taiwanese beer cans to further emphasize the Taiwanese cultural context.
